Our new carpet got its first big test yesterday evening.
The first of the season's 'big' spiders shot out from under a cupboard & made a beeline (spiderline?) for the sofa. I barely had time to grab my spider-catcher 'contraption' & capture it (& evict it, uninjured), but I did see it - just - when it moved. If I had missed catching it, there would have been all sorts of furniture-moving fun until I found it. The next few months are going to test my nerves.

seeing just how good the night mode on my new phone camera is. I’d say this is pretty solid!! spooky spider living in our window! (honestly it’s pretty big it’s like…the size of my thumbnail give or take).
