#Spiez, die erste richtige Pause nach 70km. Es dämmert zwar langsam, aber mein Scheinwerfer muss an die Powerban; und auch meinen Beinen schadet etwas Ausruhen nicht.

After one week in the region of #Bern we decided to pedal on, before falling back into the burning hamsterwheel 😅

The first day our son Severin joined us through the #Gürbetal and along the lake #Thun until #Spiez.
Amazed by the stunning mountain view (Gantrisch, Stockhorn, #Niesen) and refreshed from a swim in the lake we pedaled towards #Interlaken.

After long deliberation I chose the Panasonic DMC-TZ101 and went on a first test round today. Have to practice more, but with some of them, I pretty satisfied. This picture is a panorama of the harbor of Spiez (putting in some shameless advertisement pictures today of this fabulous village).

#Spiez🇨🇭station - a #Lötschberg railway hub: a #BLS ABDe4/8 “Blue Arrow” unit and an Ae4/4 electric are seen here awaiting further duties. Both vehicle types were built in the 1950s and have been withdrawn since I have taken this picture in August 2002.
