@Htaggert me too.. two friends in last stage of #SpineChallenger 393 and 630 - very dodgy signal on that stretch so not updating often ..but both nearly there now and husband at the finish to cheer them over the line!

A blinder of a run by Rory Harris, who won the 108 mile Spine Challenger South after some extremely testing conditions on the course, particularly over Pen y Ghent. He’s had strong winds, snow, very low visibility, sodden ground conditions, essentially everything you all sign up for on the #Spine events!

@Htaggert it's compelling dot watching isn't it.. got 3 friends doing #SpineChallenger or #MRT this year and all doing amazingly well. We live near Settle so husband is going up to the Horton checkpoint soon to cheer them on.

The #SpineRace is a huge long distance run along the #PennineWay starting in Derbyshire and ending just in Scotland - there are various races so not everyone does the whole distance. Currently have 3 friends doing the 'short' #SpineChallenger which is a mere 108 miles ending in #Hawes - it's quite compulsive #DotWatching to see how they are doing - and lovely to see that two friends who didn't previously know each other seem to be currently running together 😃 https://live.opentracking.co.uk/spinechall23/
