Zwei Sessions #Spire später:
Die Leitung gab uns ein Szenario mit sehr furchtbaren Aelfir. Wir haben uns ins blutige Drama gestürzt. Eine High Society Party mit wohl sehr mörderischem Ausgang.

Setting wie es mir bis jetzt präsentiert wurde, sagt mir super zu.

Die Regeln sind im Moment bei mir so 50/50. Ich bin mir nicht so ganz sicher, wie signifikant die Ergebnisse sein dürfen. Stress und Fallout für mich in jedem Fall aber besser als Stress zum Beispiel in Blades in the Dark.

[17] Funny is not what I’m here for, but Grant Howitt has not only made #Spire, but also makes hilarious (and gratis) one-page RPGs.
As a #DarkSouls fan, I want to point out "Fucked up little men" where you play all the weird, crestfallen NPCs who give cryptic 'advice' to the 'hero' while laughing at him. You even get your personal refrain like … well, mostly "heh, heh, heh".

Heute darf ich zum ersten mal #Spire ausprobieren. Ein Rollenspiel, das ich schon lange auf der Liste hatte und auch sicher mal selbst gerne leiten würde. Heute umso netter, dass ich es als Spieler erproben darf.

Die Heart-Spire-Tandem-Kurzkampagne ist immer noch eine Idee, die bei mir herumschwirrt.

Ascensor al Cielo

I pick a start point.

"Brother Hellion, highest figure of a Gun Based Church in a dangerous and poor district in Spire, appears dead by two shots in his head. It seems a suicide"
So next logical step for the Church is having three reactions:
-Murder! It cannot be a sucide, someone is tricking us
-Miracle! He has discovered the ultimate state of the soul through the poder
-Faith crisis! Everything he stands for is a lie
So I create three characters to embody these reactions.

And then I ask the characters to get into it because this is Spire, so the Game asks me to make the city fall:

"You must weaponize this against the æelfir"

And then I wait to the first session. No more characters but some random npc, no scenes, no plot.
Who killed Hellion? Why? I did not know.

I were not sure it should be relevant at all.

And then, let's play tennis with players!

"Got to keep my eyes from the circling skies..." 🎵

[4] The most recent game I bought is probably #Spire.
I haven’t played it yet and therefore don't want to judge the rules, but I’m in love with the setting.
You play in the eponymous city Spire, a tower-like structure that defies the rules of statics and reality itself; as suppressed dark elves who revolt against the high elves who conquered their city.
I haven’t found any boring class, faction or area yet – they are all pretty crazy.
