Hubby and I just finished watching #spiritedmovie and enjoyed it. I guess I didn’t realize that it is a full-on musical. The song and dance numbers were really good and the story was a fun take on Scrooge. Perfect holiday #movie during a blizzard. 🎄

“Spirited” has been watched.

I really liked it a lot.

Some notes:

• Enjoyed the twist on the story
• Liked the commentary on today’s society in one of the songs
• One of the songs reminded me of “Thank You Very Much” from the Scrooge movie
• The dancing reminded me of The Greatest Showman

I won’t say more, but if you have access to it, you definitely should watch it.

The #SpiritedMovie on AppleTV subverted the Christmas Carol story in an inventive way that surprised me and thawed my initial cynicism. I can see this being eminently rewatchable.
