Just discovered #SniperElite5 and am loving it. First #VideoGame I’ve gotten into in a minute.

It combines the sneakiness of classic #SplinterCell with the vintage feel I remember from the good #CallOfDuty and #Battlefield games.

The overall vibe is similar to Tom Clancy’s #GhostReconWildlands and #ShadowOf
Mordor, both of which I also really enjoyed.

Question: Is there any video game where your save from a previous game carries over to an opponent in a sequel?

Several game series have carried over data, like #MassEffect keeping major story decisions, or #TearsOfTheKingdom keeping existing horses.

Some games also turn a protagonist into a villain / opponent, like the co-op story in #SplinterCell #Conviction where the two players have to fight each other at end.

But does anyone do both? I'm thinking like how Red shows up as the final trainer in #Pokemon Gold / Silver, but if he actually had your final team in the previous game.

That obviously wasn't possible at the day, but it's definitely feasible today. Has any game actually done that? I think it would be a really cool curveball to throw at the player, especially if it scales to previously progress and leveling.
