In our series, I don't have much luck with my instances at the moment, my Calckey account is all messed up right now, and here, I'm starting to think that the admin has left the ship. The Mastodon version hasn't been updated and the admin hasn't been active in weeks (and didn't reply to my message).

What should I do? I don't want to migrate again, I like it here on this instance...

Updated: #SporeSocial was having issue so I created my own hosted account with my own domain. I'm going to go ahead and keep this even though it appears the accounts are available again. Because I don't know how long that will last...

Going to also combine my two accounts @JenRohrigDesign and @StardustRohrig that are on spore social.

Creating a new Mastodon account was not my idea of how to spend the evening, but even if spore.social comes back online, I don't think it's wise to stay there. Which sucks, I liked the place very much. :-(

Not sure if I should create a new account from scratch or reactivate the account on my old instance? Hmmmm (my handle is my full name there, and while I'm not anonymous, I never know if it's a good idea to have your full name as your handle)

(I said a few months back that I wasn't a fan of the Project Mushroom model and this development reinforces the reasons why)

@bxknits It uses the technics of Mastodon but is a closed, not federated project.

The same people lanced the instance @spore.social which is federated, so we can interact only with the latter.
Not all people from #ProjectMushroom have an account on #SporeSocial.
