I'm also checking out #Spoutable while reviewing new social platforms.
Spoutable is pretty easy to navigate, and it looks and feels like the Birdsite for those looking for an easier transition.
The people on there seem great so far.
I recommend reviewing if you'd like to check out more than one social platform.
I wonder how the #political landscape will change once #Twitter loses a lot of #normie users. It'll also be interesting to see how split up the #news and #commentators go, #spoutable, #mastodon, or #post.

I just joined #Spoutable to take a look around and prevent someone from squatting on my usual username. I'm disappointed to see that they current don't support any form of multi factor authentication, and don't have a DMARC record on the spoutable.com domain.
So, I'm on the spout now...
It's kinda laggy AF, but it's super new, so that's to be expected at this point 🙂
Getting started! See you there!
Not that I don't love you all here, but is anyone playing around with #spoutable?
#Spoutable missed their deadline to open to the public, and I wanted to find out why. So I did a hashtag search on it and found out the website is based on a PHP-based package called "ColibriSM" with BotSentinel integrated into it that is backed by CloudFlare.
Here's a link to its download page, which also includes a link to a demo that looks very familiar.

(This post is an experiment to test something about hashtags. Please ignore it. Unless you like that sort of thing.)

And now, for my periodic complaint about the lack of #search on Mastodon. I want to know what people are saying about #Spoutible. Or even, if they’re not spelling it correctly, #Spoutable. I’m sure somebody somewhere in the Fediverse is talking about it, but either they’re not using a hashtag or my ESP hasn’t yet discovered what hashtag they’re using. Search is good, and what isn’t good about it is correctable by allowing people to opt out of it. #ThankYouForComingToMyTEDTalk

So people signing up to #Spoutable, how many of you actually read the privacy policy?
I don't think #Spoutable will be "The Thing" that will be The Good Twitter Replacement because centralized social media inherently carries the risk of being purchased by a billionaire.
#transitiontuesday Any of you guys are also waiting for #Spoutable another alternative for the blue bird. I am still adapting trying to find a new home as a twitter refugee
