Je me posais une question par rapport aux outils de visioconférence. On a comme outils libres:
- #Jistsi (et #Matrix qui l'utilise), où le flux passe par le serveur¹
- #BigBlueButton, où le flux passe par le serveur
- #NextcloudTalk qui se base sur #Spreed, qui fonctionne en P2P²
Je me demandais s'il existait des comparatifs (avec explications ?) des différentes technologies utilisées, et surtout de leurs performances : charge serveur (et client ?) et bande passante (client et serveur).

I love #NextCloud, but the last few releases have felt increasingly like the new features were increasingly focused just on enterprise use. Are there edge cases where a non enterprise user might use this? I guess. What non enterprise user will use this on a regular basis though? And this is the main promoted new feature...
I miss when we got new features like #Spreed (almost everyone uses video / audio calls) and #Collabora (almost everyone uses document editing).
So, my medium-low tech mother whom I am trying to wean of proprietary networks finds #Wire delightfully easy, but #Nextcloud "too hard". Still trying to figure that out. I'm guessing it's because maybe she's more used to things like #Skype (similar to Wire) than file explorer apps.
I wonder what app would make a more friendly, default app for people like her? #Spreed?
