Our driveway has been unusually icy this year. Yesterday's warm weather just made it slipperier. The kid with the earlier shift left early enough that it hadn't started to melt and turn slick yet, but the kid who works a bit later wasn't so lucky. I feel like we've had a vehicle in the ditch or stuck on ice at least twice a week since January. We even had to call CAA once; luckily, they said that they could tow our van even though it's a 12 passenger, since it's a personal use vehicle.
