This whole epic saga of the suspected #Chinese #SpyBallon reminded me of the popular ‘80s song by Nena! In this song, 99 red balloons released into the sky cause a major response. Here’s some of the lyrics:

I do raise an eyebrow at the #SpyBallon thing. As the US themselves said a few days back, the balloon cannot gather that much intelligence anyway, and nowhere near as much as Chinese satellites could, and that's why they initially decided not to shoot it down.

I'm open to be corrected on this, but a balloon seems a stupid way to gather intelligence anyway: you have absolutely no control on where it will go.

I think they're grooming us for a war with China.
