"Insider threat protection". Meaning spying on employees. Possibly anonymized, but they certainly collect absolutely everything.

Is this basically an issue of legal governance or of the tools being available? Does such legal governance exist? As I understand it, employee contracts typically say there is no right to privacy, and this is typically enforceable in the UK?
