A few more days and I can finally play around with my two new friends:

& - a digital Synth to replace my and a new conductor for my studio as a replacement for my .

The Blo is capable of creating beautiful soundscapes but it never felt fun to program it. The MPC is a fantastic sampler & a really capable sequencer but again, sequencing with it has always been purely functional but not joy - which is why I make music in the first place.

Right now, we are stuck in this weird state of transitional lockdown between the past and the future.
I try to remember that periods of transition like this are full of opportunity, and a lot of good can come from them, no matter how difficult they may be. And I try to remember that they are fleeting. They won't last.

This Ain't Gonna Last Forever. Even if we wanted it to.
