In the #KSC Visitors Complex #AtlantisMuseuem, #NASA’s #SpaceShuttle #Orbiter #Atlantis is displayed for the public as if were in #space.
The payload bay doors are open, the #APAS docking ring is extended, and the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System #SRMS, or #Canadarm, is stretched out of the #payloadbay for visitors to get a close look at.
This photograph shows the #endeffector, which clasped onto specially build grapple-holds so the robot arm can firmly grasp its payload.
