#Apple's move from x86 to ARM-based #CPUs means that many individuals will have their SIMD code targeting x86 ISA extensions like SSE, #SSE2, #AVX etc., which will not run on Apple's new machines.
Is a very high-level "executive summary" of #MMX vs #SSE2 vs #SSSE3 something like this: "MMX is 64-bit SIMD stuff, SSE2 makes it 128 bits, and SSSE3 makes it even better in more ways" ?
