New Blog post alert!
I have just released my new blog post about #PowerBI Paginated Report Subscriptions.
In a previous blog post, I have been going through the migration process from #SSRS reports to #PowerBI #PaginatedReports, now, I'm looking into the subscription features that #PowerBI has to offer for #PaginatedReports.
As usual, with a very easy-to-follow walkthrough.

New Blog Post Alert!
Are you wondering how to convert #SSRS Reports to #PowerBI #PaginatedReports?
In November 2022, Microsoft announced that #PowerBI #PaginatedReports was becoming a Pro feature.
I went through the process to migrate an existing #SSRS report to a #PaginatedReport in #PowerBI. I have written down all the steps in this blog post.
Find out what you need to do now!

That feeling you get when you send out an email to 350 people in your company saying. "Hey that report you guys use every day it's being deployed differently starting Monday."
Then my inbox gets filled with panic because all they read was CHANGE and OUR PRECIOUS REPORT.
Such is the life. Just glad to roll it out.

I have around 300 SSRS reports that were built years ago by someone else, using now deprecated Report Models as data sources.
To convert the data sources into something maintainable going forward, I've been executing the reports, pulling the auto-generated SQL out of the Report Server logs, cleaning it up enough with Redgate's SQL Prompt to see what it was intended to do, and then rewriting it as actually legible stored procedures.
Am I just being dumb? Is there a better way?
