Mit smarten Steckdosen, teilweise automatisiert, teilweise per App, ganz bequem.
Statt ca. 2200 kWh haben wir nur ca. 1600 kWh verbraucht. Ich bin platt.
Ich wusste nicht wieviel Standbygeräte verbrauchen.

And here's an article by trustworthy German public TV
that states EU regulation since 2013 (pre Brexit!) allows 0.5Wh in standby for internet-less devices (not 8Wh as I wrote above.)

it also says that citizens in Germany use 10 billion kWh for #standby... !!
(And that #OLED TV should not be hard-switched off immediately after use but left in standby for an hour to let the display-tuning program run its course.)
