Ahh, back in the #UK ; first sight after passport control: Two members of staff at #StanstedAirport trying to recover a stuck piece of oversized baggage wedged in a convery belt with a boat hook. Luckily it wasn't ours.

#stanstedairport just makes me angry. Their lack of queue management incoming at the border and outgoing at security make it unnecessarily painful , The train service is slow and #ManchesterAirportGroup have taken great terminal building and just seem to leave it mucky. - Sorry for the rant.

Yup thats #ryanair definition of #ontime and #finalcall at #stanstedairport - Nobody has actually boarded yet and the aircraft isnt actually boarding. Oh and that's 10 minutes after the scheduled gate closure.

I really wish someone would explain to the people at #stanstedairport how a #queue works. At #airport security and #passport control they break all the rules of queue design and have terrible variability in service time.

A 23-year-old from east London has pleaded not guilty to 14 terrorism charges following his arrest at Stansted Airport.
Ismail Kissa pleaded not guilty to 13 counts of dissemination of a terrorist publication - under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 - and one count of possessing a document containing information likely to be useful for terrorism - under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
