The #Starbucks #StarbucksForLife game is fairly universally reviled this year.

Today, they’ve managed to add fuel to consumers’ fire by having the game site crash today. It is unavailable and there are anecdotes of disappeared prize badges floating about.

#HelloWorld now #Merkle was/is the third party consumer engagement company running the promotion and their website brags that there’s no one there, they all went home for the holidays.

Epic fail.

Playing Starbucks for life? Anyone else consistently getting “not a winner”? 5 for 5 plays today yielded nothing. It seems in the past you got one of the stamps, even if it is a repeat.

This year’s #Starbucks #StarbucksForLife game is terrible. Four straight days of all five plays yielding “not a winner.”

In previous years, each play would get something and if it was a duplicate, it would count toward a free play prize (which, I believe, required three duplicates to “redeem”).

#starbucks has brought back their #starbucksforlife game. I have only ever won like 10 bonus stars or 15 bonus stars. Not gonna play this time.
