I think this particularly true in gaming. When I think of '70s arcade culture, when I was 12-13, that's completely gone now.

And what's replaced it is this ultra-capitalism where games workers are routinely expected to overwork to levels that affect their mental and physical health.

The money in the biz has made crunch time and un-finished releases commonplace.

Wayback Machine: Pictures of #Starcastle, a #Prog band I was soundman and head of road crew for, back in the 70s. Most of the time I was too busy working to take pictures.

The quality isn't great, it was shot on EIR #film and scanned at a lousy resolution. Need to dig out the slides and re-scan them.
