I was looking into #StarTrek's #StarDate system for both potential cosplay purposes and inspiration for a fictional setting of my own and that led me to Julian Date and subsequently Modified Julian Date (MJD) that's used by astronomers.
Then I got onto a tangent about Unix time, and now I'm looking into Metric Time and thinking about plausible ways it could be implemented or designed. It turns out that timekeeping is pretty damn cool and complicated.

Useless Clock Two By LeRoy Miller, KD8BXP

The most useless clock I ever made.... (It only displays time in obscure formats, and in the serial terminal).
UTC (Ok not obscure & probably the most useful on the list), New Earth Time, Decimal (2 different versions), Dalek Rel Time, French Fractional Time, Beats Time, Hexadecimal Clock, Star Trek Stardate

@cybersqyd boosting because I donโt want to be the only one feeling this profoundly uncomfortable.
But also yes, the sooner we can get to #Stardate measurements, the better
