Tuesday game: ship-to-ship combat night. I got to be captain because 1) I'm one of two charisma based characters, and 2) I had no other relevant skills. 😂

We did well.

My favorite part? When one of the people we rescued said, "This is the worst rescue I've ever seen!" And our android medic said if he was being rescued that often perhaps he was making poor choices. 🫣🤭🙄

Tuesday game: We found our way through the underground section of the private hangar we were pointed to. Found cool things. Didn't manage to grab them all because we started the countdown timer too early (fueling the ship). No one died, though I've been pretty worried about it in this game. And we made it off planet. Who knows who else did at this point. I guess we'll see at the rendezvous point...

Das komplexeste Spiel was ich mal gespielt habe, war #Starfinder, was ich mittlerweile ausgesondert habe, weil ich es nicht mehr spielen werde wegen dem Crunch. #pnpde

@SoloRunStudio I found invisibility very annoying running #starfinder - it's easy to get (lowish level spell, lasts a long time), it makes a huge difference, and everyone would be aware of its existence, so you'd expect lots of countermeasures around, meaning I then have to build bases etc which are "invisibility-aware". Powerful spells, fine, but I don't want to have to completely rethink every building that's meant to be secure.

Reading the latest playtest report on #starfinder 2e https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo6sidw and they seem to have a Foundry module set up - probably a modded PF2e one.

I suspect classes will be tightly focused vs the IMO overly broad archetypes in SF1e. The playtest Soldier class for instance is specifically a big tough guy, primary stat Con, laying down lots of firepower, not just "any fighty person who uh isn't an operative". Similarly Operative focused on trick attack not just "anyone a bit sneaky".

Tuesday game: welp, I was right. It was a Bad Idea to make the deal with Corporate Lady last week. When we went back, we found she had been possessed by a green slime that is part of the bug army... guess who got et by the parasite next? Yep, you guessed it, yours truly. But hey, I got to fight almost my whole team! 😂😂😂 I was within 2 HP of being dead/unconscious when the critter abandoned my body.

Then we missed our ride off-planet. We did not have a good day in game.
