The #VisionFive 2 was a fun #SBC to play around with for the ~$100 price tag but don't expect much out of its performance at this time. Any similarly-priced #AArch64 #singleboardcomputer is almost surely to perform much better than the VisionFive 2 until the RISC-V software ecosystem as a whole matures, more #opensource developers gaining access to RISC-V for testing and software optimizations, etc.

Arch Linux image for the #VisionFive2 release "cwt15".
Since "cwt14" was built with Arch standardized "by the book," "cwt15" is merely an update to accommodate the new kernel (with u-boot and spl) from #StarFive.

But it's very much aimed at early adopters: the hardware is reasonably capable, but software support is still in the early stages. StarFive offered by email to provide the contact information for the delivery company if I ask them by email reply. They ignored all my multiple repeated emails over days. No visionfive2 for me then?
