A twisty tree seen along the trail during yesterday’s walk at Starkey Wilderness Park. I never feel like I’ve really connected to a place until I spend time exploring it on foot - preferably a trail in nature.

I’d rather spend hours becoming familiar with a relatively small area than race around to see more sights without any meaningful, physical connection. Anywhere worth exploring deserves my full attention. #TwistedTree #Nature #Florida #StarkeyWildernessPark
