Dreading 2023. Partner is taking part in the #starms trial of #hsct as 2nd line treatment for MS. Hear soon what arm she's in. The evidence looks high RoB and the side effects look horrific. It's shitty trying to make an informed decision when the evidence isn't there yet. Understand why some friends of mine have said no to HSCT. Same time, my partner has active RRMS that's not responding to treatment. Don't feel like my #EvidenceSynthesis training has equipped me for this.

This week my partner got referred onto a trial of #HSCT for #MS called the #STARMS trial - I'd love to know of any #qualitative research being done with MS patients post HSCT. Any thoughts of the quality of the evidence for HSCT for MS also welcome.
