Part of me wants to go back to #starnix … opinions?

Seems like remote posts on this instance expire after 1 month now. I guess I will run into a disadvantage at some point.

#Starnix just brought back glitch-soc to their Mastodon instance. I'm thinking about bringing back my old account as an alt if this instance is having problems. Starnix is stable and has a good Explore and Federated timeline.

But at least I've migrated accounts to a well-known Linux-based instance so I can post my Linux content.

And @atlas_core seems to like Starnix, so I'll make some considerations...

Does #starnix have markdown support on Mastodon?

Well, I didn't think this through, I have moved back to #starnix because once I'd moved to techhub.social , I realised it's a big instance, and I knew noone on the instance. That isn't how I like the instance I use so I'm back with mstdn.starnix.network as my main Fedi account and to interact with instances like mastodon.art I'll use my Pleroma @CJLinuxGamer . But yh I'm back :)

@splitshockvirus Is it okay if I can become a mod for #Starnix? I can bring back my old account if I have to.

When #starnix got its name, it was based off of *nix, where * was the star. We were themed around Unix and unix-like operating systems, and we were created to help refugees from a YouTuber's instance find a new home, while also going in a new direction.
