@lasterestephane @libreoffice Souvenirs… #Staroffice était livré avec le PC portable que je me suis acheté avec mes deux premières paies, en 2002. J’ai découvert #OpenOffice.org avec la version 1.1.1 (facile de s’en souvenir…) et ne suis jamais reparti en arrière. En fait, en y repensant, c’était mon premier vrai pas vers le Libre sur le bureau (j’administrais déjà un #lamp Le deuxième a été #Firefox 0.8.4 et le 3e #SuseLinux 10.1

@nick Ich bin erst vor einem Jahr von einer alten #StarOffice-Version zu #OpenOffice 4.1 gewechselt, bin aber auch soweit zufrieden damit. Ich brauche eine Office-Version, die sich nicht allzu schnell verändert. Ich möchte wenigstens ein Programm mit Bestand installiert haben, wenn ich schon nicht WinRAR nutze. 😜

Am heutigen 18. August 2022 erschien übrigens #LibreOffice 7.4!

#LibreOffice ist eine freie Zusammenstellung typischer Standardsoftware für Bürotätigkeiten (Office-Paket). Dazu gehören Programme für Textverarbeitung (Writer), Tabellenkalkulation (Calc), Präsentation (Impress) und zum Erstellen von Zeichnungen (Draw). Ein Datenbankmanagementsystem (Base) und ein Formeleditor (Math) sind ebenfalls enthalten.

#LibreOffice spaltete sich 2010 vom Office-Paket #OpenOffice.org ab, welches wiederum von #StarOffice abstammt.

Okay... i didnt know that there was a version of Star-Writer fot the #Atari ST. It's the predecessor of #Staroffice and #Openoffice

20 years #OpenOffice are definitely a reason for congratulations and appreciation. Emerged from the #StarOffice, now the unofficial successor #LibreOffice dominates. But it has set standards for free software!
