These weird C-clamps are super weak. I googled the manufacturers "#Starrett, #BrownAndSharpe, #Mitutoyo and #Lufkin" and they aren't even known for making clamps! And these clocks aren't running, but even if they did it looks like some kind of #metric time. Useless.

At least there's some #Craftsman in the lot.

Father-in-law's neighbor is downsizing and FIL noticed a bunch of #machining tools on the way out. Gonna score a bunch of vintage #Starrett, #BrownandSharpe and #Lufkin DTIs and suchlike for the shipping cost!

10.3mm 📏

4mm gap required and using a 1/4 inch spiral upcut router bit. Total fence setting 10.3mm. Routing a groove for the base and allowing a little clearance for the veneer which will be applied to it.

Any excuse to use the #Starrett caliper.

So the US sends some 1/4" bearings to Sweden, and asks for a quote that is ~ 100% of available manufacturing capacity

The Swedes telegraph back:
