#Celebrity is a weird thing.

I have never wanted to BE a celebrity. I’ve also never thought that celebrities are “better” than non-celebrities.

But I do get extraordinarily #starstruck, to the point of muteness, if I meet a celebrity in real life. And it’s not limited to actors, authors, sportspeople and musicians - it’s anyone remotely #famous.

I’m very #shy naturally (not that you’d know from my online persona), and the fact that someone doesn’t know who I am will compound the idea that I would be bothering them if I even said hello.

Then again, I tend to feel that about most people. If they wanted to talk to me they would. If they wanted to get to know me, they would. I don’t want to impose myself on anyone, completely disregarding that other people are just like me and that’s why THEY don’t approach me.

Anyway, if you’re a celebrity and out in the wild, don’t be offended if I ignore you. I promise, I see you and I love you, I just can’t approach you.
