After the video of my painting up a Tyranid gained a lot of attention, I've had people asking me to paint up the Space Marine in just the 5 colours from the new Starter Set. So today I painted up this guy for a video showing how to do it.

Here is my 'nid. Painted up with just Abaddon Black, Wraithbone, McCragge Blue, and Naggaroth Night. This was done only using a starter brush and not using a wet pallette. For the limitations (especially the quality of the brush), I'm happy with the result.

So I'm all set up for a . Painting this Tyranid using just the 5 colours from the upcoming 40K starter set. But I'm also only going to use a starter brush and no wet pallette, so I really will be able to see what's possible if that box is someone's first steps into Warhammer.
