If you've had to begin a new life recently, then you should be proud of how brave you've been.

It might take a while to build something new. Since you're probably dealing with bigotry as a nonbinary person, it may take even longer.

Starting over was worth it and the time it takes for your new life will be worth it, too.

There are times when I feel like with my is dumb and I won’t be able to do it because I’m too old to do that sort of thing.

Then I myself that I should keep until I am at least 70 if I can which is a little over 20 from now.

That is 20 years that I can be making a and not just my but so many others. If I don’t make this effort, I’m not sure I would have the same impact.

So, don’t give up! The future is amazing.

Roughly 2 years ago a parishioner was having a tough time and the only way she could deal with it was to leave the church (and not necessarily on good terms). Her mother followed shortly thereafter.
Two months ago the mother came back.
Today I had a good, long conversation with her. She’s in a better place, a job she likes, healthier, and is taking steps to come back.

I agree, and other times you have to face the darkness within and give it a hug (or at least offer it some space to exist and be itself in the corner of the room for a while).

This point of view (and lots of practice) has helped me through many situations in which the middle-finger/power-through approach would have resulted in a panic attack knocking me on my ass.
