@ItziPerkins Lo son. #StartPage por ejemplo lo que hace es ofrecerte exactamente el mismo contenido que Google, pero sin pasar por Google (es como "entrar a Google por la puerta de atrás").

algo parecido a cuando usas Invidious en vez de ir directamente a Youtube. Los vídeos son los mismos, pero Invidious es como otra fachada por la que entras a la misma casa.

@ItziPerkins Tanto como eso... No sé en qué pueda radicar una lentitud tan excesiva como para tardar semanas en vez de horas. Los navegadores por mucha diferencia de rapidez que haya entre ellos no es tan abismal.

De todos modos, mientras no sea algo enorme, yo prefiero "algo" de lentitud (mientras no sea exagerado) a cambo de proteger mi privacidad. Lo tengo claro. Y si fuera excesivamente lento ya buscaría otras solciones pero que no fueran en ningúncaso usar Chrome ni Edge, eso también lo tengo claro.

Mientras más extensiones tenga un navegador más se ralentiza, pero dos dos o tres no le pasa nada (yo tengo cuatro y no noto una lentitud desesperante para nada).

Otra cosa: no sé qué buscador usas, pero yop hace años que dejé de usar Google por #StartPage. Otra opción es #DuckDuckGo. Pasa como con los navegadores, estos dos no te espian y no tienen algoritmos que te muestran primero lo que les conviene.

Suchmaschinen mit ausschließlich eigenem Index gibt es tatsächlich nicht so viele. Nur bspw. #Swisscows hat einen eigenen Index:

Und bei den Meta-Suchen kann man ja im einzelnen auswählen, welche Quellen man nutzen möchte und welche nicht.

De todos modos, teclea en el buscador "nubes descentralizadas", "nubes libres", "open source clouds" y términos similares, y algo te saldrá.

Por supuesto, no lo busques en Google: una buscadores como #StartPage o #DuckDuckGo. Google ya está muy visto (...y vás que te ve él).

But, it was an ad for NordVPN, a VPN service I wouldn't even consider, from a company nobody should trust. I expected better from my favorite search engine.

I guess the good days of Startpage are coming to an end.

@sleepybisexual in terms of privacy duckduckgo is good but their results aren't that great, in my opinion #startpage , #bravesearch , #whoogle and #searxng are far better in both privacy and results.

J'utilise #Startpage(¹) au quotidien et je ne trouve rien à y redire, mais là, je cherchais de l'info sur le son dans Ffx qui se désynchronise.

Ne trouvant que peu d'info utile, je désactive mon Pi-hole et essaie dans Google…
