#stashdivesaturday I was digging around in my stash and found these yarns. The Sanna is lovely, but on its own, the colors are just too pale to suit me. Similarly, the shade of the other yarn doesn't do much for me. But what if I combined the two? Some swatching is in order! 😃

It's 100% Portuguese wool yarn, manufactured in Portugal, exclusively from the wool of free grazing Bordaleira Serra da Estrela sheep. I think it will be perfect for this new design, I'm thinking of: a drop shoulder cardigan with basket weave patterning

#stashdivesaturday I did some stash diving to see if anything caught my attention for a new shawl design. I found this Cascade 220 Fingering, in Ginger, Olive Oil, and Brown. I'm thinking of a top-down triangle in garter stitch lace, with a garter stitch striped border. But which color to use for the body? I would love your input!

#stashdivesaturday This yarn was bought sometime in 2014, and I have 3 balls of it. I tried out a design idea with it, back in 2015, but I frogged it in 2018. So, new project, new chances! I decided on a sideways lace triangle, with a 1-stitch increase every other row. Will keep you posted on my progress 😉
