Hi fellow Mastodonians! Time for my #introduction.

Professionally I lead a team of engineers, data scientists, data engineers and UX researchers at the worlds largest mining company: BHP.

My team develops software and studies to improve the performance of autonomous vehicles in some very large mines in Australia. ❤️

I previously worked at HP and Shell.

I have a BS in #CS from #CUBoulder, a masters degree in Petroleum Engineering (#pete) from #tamu and am nearly done with a masters in CS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (#uiuc).

My interests include #USA, #america, #Australia, #ethicalAI, #software, #statistics, #stasticallearning, #datascience, #informationvisualization, #visualization, muticultural families, #OlympicLifting, #crossfit, #scuba, #surfing and #BostonTerriers. I also like looking at the #micromobility cars that I hope will soon be everywhere in big cities around the world.
