The tantalizing prospect here is that there are a half-decade’s worth of targets to discover around the globe (judging by registration and expiry dates of published domains, 2019-present), with the attacker’s target selection unfettered by the sort of geographic restrictions that might be imposed by a commercial surveillance vendor. (As is well-known, NSO Group reportedly bans many Pegasus users from spying in Israel, Iran, Russia, China and the United States)."
