My 2nd waycheck prior to the forthcoming launch of the Teifi Valley Trail - Lechryd to St Dogmaels. I challenge anyone to find a more scenic and interesting route anywhere along the Trail. St Dogmaels, at the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is on the Wales Coast Path and Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
The village centres on the ruins of the 12th century Abbey and visitor centre.
A mile North lies Poppit Sands blue flag beach with dunes, café and marshes
