@MsDropbear42 there was a NSWGR locomotive class known as pigs: the 36 or 32 class I think. I reckon there was also a BR class that was called something similar. I'm guessing there were probably others, too.

So I'm saying

How did I do?

What a lovely sight!

A reminder of 20 years ago when two veteran Welsh locomotives met up across the border in Highley, Shropshire (at the Severn Valley Railway)!

Ex Port Talbot Railway & Docks Co (No. 26 but later renumbered by the GWR as no. 813) 0-6-0ST (built in1901), and:

ex-Taff Vale Railway No. 85 0-6-2T (built 2 years earlier in 1899). This loco had a long and interesting history!

The biggest steam locomotives ever built, the 4-8-8-4 “Big Boys” of the Union Pacific;. This makes the “Back 5s” that used to come through my local (UK) station, look like miniatures! This example is in the National Railroad Museum, Green Bay, Wisconsin
