Daily #SteveKimock. I missed the anniversary of #JerryGarcia’s death by a few days, but here’s Steve’s tribute to him. Steve got to spend some time with Jerry, but it’s an internet myth that Jerry was a big influence on Steve’s playing. Steve always admired Jerry’s playing, but in his formative years, Steve’s main influences were Roy Buchanan, Johnny Winter, Duane, and a bit later, David Lindley.
