My 2nd pair of ear cushions for my #steelseries tore where it holds on the headset. And the adjustable strap on the head lost it's elasticity. Thinking it's time to upgrade these. Had them for quite some time. Stick with it? Newer from SS or different brand. LMK

Today i trashed my #sennheiser #gsp670 after just short of 3 years usage as the leather (imitation?) falls apart. I'm disappointed in the overall quality and sound as well. I switched to #steelseries because the sound is just as good, microphone is even better and they are a lot lighter and more comfy.

I moved from Corsair Keyboard to steel series in my device renewal because i really have the heavy new style, i prefer the nearly borderless style of the steel serie apex style, and the oled display and integrated profile make it even better for linux, since you only have to set every profil once after you can move from one to another since they are stored into the device.

the #SteelSeries GG driver for #Mac sucks. It can't sync. It can't function as advertised or intended.

I ordered a new mouse from #steelseries about 2 weeks ago. In the intervening time, #fedex's tracking shows it left Arizona, arrived near me in Tennessee, then turned around and went to Oregon.

In addition to my mouse's absurd carbon footprint, it's made me think about how interesting it would be to have access to FedEx's database, just to run some #SQL queries and find more ridiculous storylines like this.

What's the most states a single item has visited? What's the heaviest package currently in transit? I bet a heap of items just get bounced around from one distribution center to another until the boxes decay into a fine dust.

Tinkering with audio monitoring in Windows to improve voice calls on zoom and such. Trying #steelseries #sonar and #voicemeeter.

Got Voicemeeter running, and it’s fine, but wish it had more integration with some standard Microsoft properties (noise suppression for example).

Will see if Sonar can do the same tomorrow. It’s definitely easier on the eyes.
