For blogs that're about #decentralization & #web3 - #writeas or what about #steemit ? I just read about the latter & it seems okay-? I'm looking for a very simple #blog platform that'll have an auto generated #RSS that I can embed & style on my static website. Bonus points it has a nice community. I was thinking I'd use #dreamwidth but the excitement of doing a platform I'm not familiar with is tempting...

First test #peertube stream seems to have worked.

Only 12 seconds of noise but hey that's what I streamed.

One thing about the #fediverse I somewhat dislike is that you need different accounts for different services/ instances.

Not sure how feasible it would be to have something like a public/private key/posting key like for example #steem #steemit does.

PeerTube uses ActivityPub because this federation protocol is recommended by the W3C and is also used by other projects like the social network Mastodon.

IPFS is a great technology, but it still seems too young for streaming large files.

DTube does not seem open source, because publishing only compiled code hinders freedom of modification.
