Spent most of my day at the Science and Media Museum in Bradford, supporting their school holiday activities as a #StemAmbassador, making simple coding ciphers and helping decode top secret messages!

This week, 24 new Winogradsky columns came into being, with help from the KS2 classes at my local school 🦠💚

As they all needed egg yolks, back at home I'm now making meringues! Lots and lots of meringues!!!

I have no idea how the students mud jars will end up, but here's a pic of one of my winter experiments a couple of years ago with soil/water from the same river...

After the very limited #STEMambassador options available during lockdown, it was fantastic to get back into it at full speed last year. As a result, I now have my "50 hours of engagement" badge for last year's volunteering with them!

You should all go and become an STEM Ambassador - it's awesome, and only takes a commitment of one session per year!
