Premiers essais de #photography par #sténopé / #pinhole : trouver le bon compromis entre ISO et temps d'exposition c'est pas facile. Avec une lumière d'hiver et sans trépied c'est pas facile du tout. Je pense que cet été au lac face au soleil ça pourra être intéressant.

I’m day three out from surgery for mitral valve prolapse and hoping to get discharged tomorrow. I thought I would distract myself by looking through some more old photos taken with pinhole cameras. These two images were made with a custom version of the P 90 - a 90° wide field of view, 6 by 9 format camera.

Here are a couple of shots from a trip to Italy taken with the camera included in the third photo.
The #Milan Duomo was quite an experience. I'm so amazed at the work done by earlier generations of artisans.
The Cinque Terre was equally inspiring. This is the village of Manarola, where we spent most of our time.

More photos from the series I did on the #Cars in the Park event at the #Portland Art Museum. Each was made with the Pinoramic 120 Series 2 camera in the last photo. Close positioning of the curved film plane #pinhole #camera introduces cylindrical distortion in the images. This effect is less noticeable at greater subject distances which makes this kind of camera equally suitable for landscape work.
