I can readily empathise with women who are unfortunate enough to suffer this nasty condition. I am not saying it's the identical thing/cause, but otoh i do suspect the resultant symptoms are similar.

Learning how to perform #dilation, three+ times daily, in the early days & weeks after #SRS, can be a very tricky, indeed bloody painful, experience for many "newly post-op" #transwomen. As new owners of #NeoVaginas, notwithstanding how strong & long desired such goal was, that set of varying-diameter #stents can look intimidating if not simply terrifying! 😱

For some "newly post-op" #transwomen, it can be a major battle of the mind, as well as body, to be able to will one's never-before-used-in-this-way #PelvicFloorMuscles to relax & allow the neo-vagina to accept those scary stents. It's such a welcome relief once one has managed to tick this box. 😌

I had the good fortune for this to be only a short-term temporary issue for me [phew!] "back in the day", but unhappily for many of my "fellow traveller friends" back then it was a really bad problem that severely inhibited, in some cases entirely prevented, them being able to dilate. That's a big problem which was critical to overcome, lest the neo-vagina not "embed" & heal correctly, & thereby endanger the whole longer-term viability. I saw the massive distress this caused for several of my friends back then; simultaneously acutely aware of the criticality of dilating, yet psychologically blocked from doing so, with the result of substantial physical as well as emotional pain.

Hence, each time i read / hear stories of women suffering #vaginismus i feel immense sorrow & empathy for them, & hope that they can find a pathway.

My #mom is going to #CathLab today around 11a. She had an episode last night after I saw her. She said it felt like a baby on her chest. They think she may have a possible #blockage so she doesn't know if this means more #stents.

My #mom is in the #hospital here in #Florida since Thursday. She had a series of #nonstemi #heartattacks at the end of last week. After doing some #tests and sending her into the #cathlab to check her #stents they found that her #veins are narrowing as she ages #restricting the #blood and #oxygen flow to her heart. Luckily this can be controlled by #medication and once they regulate her dosage she will be released hopefully Monday, Tuesday latest.

Und ich hab mich auch damals glücklich gefühlt und gedacht, dass es mir gut geht. Außer natürlich die zwei #Stents im Herzen und wunde Oberschenkel und immer ohne Puste und schwitzend...
Dann hab ich mich am 4.Oktober 2021 zum ersten Mal seit langer Zeit gewogen und konnte es nicht glauben. Seit meinen Stents und wegen rauchen aufhören und Coronaangst nochmal 9kg zugenommen und wog 121,5kg

Hab seit dem 28,4kg abgenommen und bin noch nicht fertig. 😃 #Wiegetag #ww
