Today marks the birthday of Stephen Biko, a south African attorney who fought against the apartheid regime of the time.

As I sat here in the guard shack at work, a calendar alert popped up on my phone to remind me of the occasion. I pulled up this song from my playlist, and watched the sun rise.

Your flame remains in this world, Stephen. Rest in power.
