It was great to have a meet-up in Oregon with #stickleback biologist Dmitry Lajus. Dmitry resigned his position at U St Petersburg this year for political reasons. Well done, Sir.

The pretty typeset version of my paper in @ASNAmNat with Louis Moisan, Alison Derry, and @ecoevoevoeco is now online. We looked at whether divergence among threespine #stickleback populations in the Kenai Peninsula and Cook Inlet conformed to the #GeneticLineofLeastResistance hypothesis or appeared to be diverging in a less constrained fashion in response to multifarious selection.

#introduction I am an evolutionary biologist with an interest in the interplay between demographic history, mutation load, adaptation and speciation.
I use #populationgenetics approaches to study these processes, sometimes incorporating #paleogenomics to gain increased temporal resolution.
My main study system of the last 20 years has been #killerwhale ecotypes, but I am increasingly working with marine-freshwater #stickleback ecomorphs.
