Round One pattern for Sock Madness dropped yesterday morning is done, and I finished them in roughly 14 hours.
I had fun with these. The pattern is Valgus (available on Ravelry). They're knit flat, and then joined with a decorative seam that travels across the leg. The toe is knit in the round, and they have an afterthought heel.

Sock Madness has started up again, so here's my qualifying pair. These are not stranded; they're intarsia in the round, which is a super cool new-to-me technique, but the number of ends to weave in is over 60 *per sock* (yes really), so let's just say the chances of me actually ever weaving them all in and actually wearing them is pretty much non-existent.

When the #MastoKAL2017 started, there was a request for another event in January to be about all fiber arts, with the name #yarnuary.
I've written up some plans here: https://gannet.neocities.org/yarnuary.html
The broad idea is to share our yarn work—skilled and beginner alike—with the #yarnuary tag. I've also come up with some optional learning challenges.
Won't you join us?
