Putin is in bunkerführer mood because, despite being a psychopathic moron, he understands that everyone around him *knows* that he's the moron who not only helped destroy whatever fake status "russian federation" ever had, but he might actually help restore its original status as muscovia.

The flunky class smells hard times, unpredictability and possibly the end of all their own sociopathic prospects. It's not a wildly happy camp to lounge in.
