The art journal I just finished filling up is pretty much a Coptic binding mistakes-were-made case study -- stitching looked fine at the time but turned out to be too tight for how much stuff I glued to the pages, wtf was I thinking with the single long span of thread, etc. and the binding is under some pretty severe strain now.
