Added a character count to the description field for https://everypost.in. The count displays when contents are 75% of the limit. Saving is disabled when the limit is exceeded.

Much nicer than relying on form validation, particularly when pasting content! #rails #stimulusjs

After so much time doing pretty heavy-weight client-side apps, I've made an effort on a personal project to fully embrace the Turbo/Stimulus/Rails 7 approach of server-rendered apps and it is refreshing. There's a (re)learning curve and I'm rediscovering some HTML details that I've forgotten, but it has been so rewarding. #rails #stimulusjs

Here's where I'm at with this "Time to first response" chart.

It hits the initial design, and I like it.

There's somewhat of an answer to the "So what?" question, which was the goal: when there's too much going on above the goal for too long, especially the average, it's time to revisit the commitments and support processes.

Next week I'm starting on a new chart. Also for operators.

Today's my first day back from my sabattical from #TransparentClassroom, the the SaaS company converting to #WorkerOwnership (and hopefully a true #Cooperative).

Apparently we're hiring 1~2?!? more Developers. It's #RubyOnRails and #React, but we're moving slowly back to Boring #HTML and #CSS with little "JavaScript Sprinkles" (likely using #StimulusJS or similar) to reduce maintenance costs and ease development.

When I get the job post I'll share it here and ask for boosts!
