I’m now one of those PNW people ranting about stink bugs. Hopefully the cat doesn’t figure out there are currently stink bugs on two of the downstairs windows, OR SHE WILL NEVER EVER SHUT UP ABOUT IT [huff huff huff].
They seek the bathroom where I squished one long ago. Two others preceded them in this endeavor; into the trash and flush they went.
I’m hoping 2023 is the year with too many stink bugs, not “THE YEAR WE ACTUALLY THOUGHT THERE WOULD EVER BE FEWER STINK BUGS”.

Was a bit tricky, as I only had the 55mm macro lens and this was adjacent to the hive. Beehive of course - I've been attacked when a wasp nest has been disturbed in the past and I don't really like the aftermath.

I accidentally left some clothes in my washing machine, and now I'm thinking about that episode as I do what I can to remedy the situation.
